A focused exercise to surface where your work actually slows down — and what to fix first.
Pull the signals
- List every step that took more than a day this month.
- Mark steps where a customer waited.
- Mark steps that required a follow-up message.
- Mark steps that broke down to a single person.
Score the cost
- How often does this step happen per week?
- How many hours of waiting does it create?
- How many people are blocked while it runs?
Pick three
- Choose the three highest-cost steps.
- For each: define the smallest fix you can ship next week.
- Assign one owner per fix. No co-owners.
